Bentley refreshes Bentayga Hybrid

The refreshed Bentley Hybrid packs a 3.0-litre petrol engine plus an electric motor. Both setups churn out 330 kW of power and 700 Nm of torque.

Bentley has just revealed a facelifted version of its Bentayga Hybrid as part of its plan to electrify all its models by 2023.

The refreshed Bentley Hybrid packs a 3.0-litre petrol engine plus an electric motor. Both setups churn out 330 kW of power and 700 Nm of torque.

According to Bentley, the Bentayga Hybrid can travel up to 50 km before sipping any dose of fuel.

Bentley further explains that the 17.3-kWh lithium battery has an expected life of 160,000 kilometres or eight years.

Getting the battery pack recharged takes 2 and a half hours. The Bentley Bentayga spawns the brand’s Hybrid Efficiency Navigation system that, according to Bentley, helps drivers achieve better efficiency via feedback through the throttle pedal.

Inside, the facelift adds a standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus a fully digital instrument cluster.

There is a new 10.9-inch infotainment screen with an anti-reflection and anti-glare coating and significantly improved touch functionality.
