GWM gives SUV "fresh energy" by virtue of various styling and tech upgrades.
To remain a contender in the most competitive segment in the market, you must keep updating and evolving your product offering. GWM South Africa’s compact SUV, the Haval Jolion Pro, has become portier and more connected than ever before.
The Haval Jolion Pro builds on everything drivers love about the original: space, comfort and value now reimagined with a modern edge, sharper design, and also smarter technology. Designed for young professionals and families who want their ride to look as good as it feels, the Jolion Pro proves that premium and practical can indeed live in the same garage.
Styling updates
Styling-wise, the updated Haval Jolion Pro introduces a sleek smoked black package that adds definition to the grille, window trim and rear diffuser, giving the vehicle a more confident and dynamic presence. Inside, the Jolion Pro has been upgraded to offer enhanced wireless Android Auto and CarPlay for seamless connectivity, while improved 50W wireless charging with convenient Type-C Ports keeps devices powered on the go.

Voice command functionality has been added for effortless control. Further enhancements includes a thicker sportier steering wheel to ensure that every journey is as enjoyable as the destination.
Powering the drive
Powertrains remain the same with the Haval Jolion Pro presenting three distinct engine options. At the base level you have the 1.5-litre turbo petrol delivering 105kW of power and 210Nm of torque. This is front‐wheel drive, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Fuel consumption is claimed to be around 8.1 litres per 100km.
Stepping up, the 1.5T S version produces 130kW/270Nm and keeps the seven-speed DCT, offering a more spirited drive. But not at the expense of extra fuel with a claimed average of about 7.5 litres per 100km.
The flagship Jolion Pro Hybrid (HEV) variant combines a petrol engine with an electric motor, via Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. It produces 140kW/375Nm. With seamless switching between EV, series hybrid, parallel hybrid and regeneration modes, the SUV’s combined fuel consumption is rated at around 5.1 litres per 100 km.
