Sales success comes after less than two years being available in South Africa.
Mahindra has celebrated the milestone of 10 000 unit sales of the XUV 3X0 after less than two years on-sale.
Quick success
Essentially a heavily revised version of the previous XUV 300, the XUV 3X0 debuted in September 2024, before recording sales of 592 the following month.

Since then, it has rarely failed to dip below 400 unit sales, with the latest being 794 units sold last month.
More good news
Along with the locally made Pik Up recording its highest monthly total in years on 1 003, total Mahindra sales for February 2026 came to 1 996 units.
This placed the brand ninth overall behind Chery and ahead of other legacy, non-premium brands such as Renault and Nissan.
“The XUV 3XO has welcomed a lot of new members to the Mahindra family,” Mahindra South Africa CEO Rajesh Gupta said.
“We want to make sure that we exceed their customer service expectations, just as the car exceeds their expectations for what is possible in a compact SUV”.
Line-up explained
Available in five trim levels, plus a panel van, all XUV 3X0s are powered by Mahindra’s 1.2-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine.
Developing 82kW/200Nm, the unit is paired either to a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic.
Price
On all MX grade variants, including the panel van, the XUV 3X0 comes standard with a five-year/150 000 km warranty and a three-year/55 000 km service plan.
The more premium AX variants retain the same warranty plan, but with an upgraded five-year/100 000 km service plan.
