Hunt for Limpopo farm robbers continues as reward announced

Investigators have offered R10 000 for information that could lead to the conviction of two robbers who tied up a teacher near Roossenekal.

A R10 000 reward is being offered for information that will lead to the conviction of two robbers who attacked a teacher on a farm in Limpopo.

Middelburg Observer reports that Wilma Maartens, a teacher from Laerskool Roossenekal, was attacked on their farm, Gelukspoort, near Roossenekal last Wednesday at around 17:00.

She was attacked outside their house and dragged inside.

Screenshots of CCTV footage revealed that the robbers carried a hunting rifle and a handgun.

Maartens was tied up, and the robbers got away with cash, Bushnell binoculars, a laptop and a Samsung A32 cellphone.

Sakkie Lourens from Bosveld Misdaadondersoeke confirmed that they are offering the reward and said that all information will be treated confidentially.
