The new Defender Octa provides exceptional performance and luxury. Read more about it here.

Land Rover has unveiled the most powerful and capable Defender ever – the new Octa. The Octa boasts unparalleled performance, luxury, and off-road prowess, taking the Defender 110 to a new level.

Unbeatable power and performance

The Defender Octa is fitted with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine, delivering a mighty 467kW and 750Nm of torque. And it is no slouch either. Its 0-100km/h is given as a staggering 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 250km/h, and this fitted with 22-inch wheels.

Unmatched capability – it offers

  • New 6D dynamics suspension for exceptional handling on the road and unmatched off-road capability.
    • Increased ride height and a wider stance for superior ground clearance and stability.
    • Advanced off-road driving modes, including a dedicated Octa Mode for ultimate control.
    • It can wade through up to 1m of water, the deepest for any production Defender.

The rugged design boasts

  • A bold new exterior featuring 33-inch diameter tyres, the largest ever on a Defender.
    • Exclusive new colour options, including Petra Copper and Faroe Green.
    • An optional matte protective film for added protection and a unique look.

Luxurious and engaging interior

  • Two highly durable Ultrafabrics PU options for a lighter and more sustainable interior.
    • Standard burnt sienna semi-aniline leather with Kvadrat textile trim for a luxurious feel.
    • All-new performance seats with supportive bolsters and integrated headrests for optimal comfort.

The Defender Octa is a masterpiece of engineering, designed for those who demand the very best in performance, capability and luxury.

Expected to start from R3 499 100 in South Africa, the Defender Octa order books will open soon. Contact your local Land Rover retailer for more information.
