Man shot and killed in Olievenhoutbosch robbery

A man was killed and another wounded during a robbery in an Olievenhoutbosch shop in Centurion on Monday.

ER24 spokesperson Annine Siddall said upon arrival at the scene around 19:00, paramedics found one of the victims sitting in the shop, Rekord Centurion reported.

She said he had sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder and two to his ribs.

He was taken to Kalafong hospital.

Siddall said the other victim was found at the back of the shop and was declared dead on the scene.

More details were not immediately available and police were investigating.
