Spokesperson for the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (Dirco) Clayson Monyela says US ambassador to South Africa Reuben Brigety has apologised for his comments.
This after on Thursday saying he would “bet my life” on the ‘fact’ that South Africa had provided ammunition to Russia in December.

Dr Mmereka Ntshani, popularly known as Dr Pashy, has threatened to sue Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi for alleged defamation.
This after the statements Motsoaledi made regarding Ntshani’s passports following the arrest of convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester and his girlfriend, Dr Nandipha Magudumana, in Tanzania last month.

African Congress National (ANC) MP Sibusiso Kula, who stands accused of killing his wife last year, has applied to the Orkney Magistrate’s Court, in the North West, to have the charges levelled against him dropped.
Jennifer Motlhomi was found murdered on 27 November 2022, in what seemed like a robbery, with a stab wound in her back.

The gruelling cross-examination of witness Mthokozisi Thwala in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial continues at the High Court sitting in Pretoria.
Thwala, was one of seven people present in the family home of musician Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus, when the Bafana Bafana captain was shot dead in an apparent robbery gone wrong on 26 October 2014.

Yizo Yizo star Bubu Mazibuko is over the moon and ready to welcome her “miracle” baby. The 47-year-old took to Instagram to announce that she is expecting.
She posted a video of her and her partner standing by the ocean and enjoying the sea breeze followed by a touching caption.

Kaizer Chiefs reserves have been found guilty of fielding an eligible player during their DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) against Maritzburg United.

As a result, Chiefs forfeited their match against Maritzburg, after they fielded Puso Dithejane, while the player was on suspension.
