Four construction workers injured after wall collapses

The men were trapped underneath the soil, and paramedics had to carefully extricate them.


Four construction workers have been injured after a wall they were working on collapsed on top of them on Cheddar Close in Durban on Thursday.

The incident occurred just after 2pm.

Netcare 911 rescue personnel and Marshall Security are also on scene.

The men were moderately injured after the wall they were working on collapsed, Northglen News reported.

They were entrapped in the soil, and paramedics had to carefully extricate the men. They are currently being transported to local hospitals.

At this point it is unclear what caused the collapse.
