A gardener was held up and robbed in broad daylight in Botha’s Hill, Durban.

Blue Security’s operations manager, Brian Jackson, said three men armed with firearms and knives held up the gardener on a property in Clement Stott Road at about 2.20pm on Wednesday, Highway Mail reported.

“The gang tied up the gardener and locked him in a room at the back of the house.”

“They fled the scene with his cellphone, a brush cutter and a 20-litre container of petrol,” he said.
