Man dies after car smashes into crane in Pinetown

A man died when he crashed into a crane on Shepstone Road in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal early on Tuesday.
According to Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care, the paramedics who arrived at the scene noted that a single vehicle had veered off the road and crashed into a construction site on the median, the Highway Mail reports.
“A single driver, believed to be in his 30s, had major injuries and unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do and he was declared dead on the scene,” said Jamieson.
The police responded to investigate the cause of the accident.
