Dead man found trapped in sewer drain
Police suspect the man was murdered elsewhere and later dumped in the sewerage drain.

A dead man was found tied up and trapped in a sewerage drain system near Erasmia, Pretoria, on Monday morning, police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said.
Employees of the Waste Water Works noticed the trapped body trapped on Monday morning and immediately alerted the police, he said.
“Upon arriving at the scene, police found that both his hands and feet were tied with ropes, and the body had visible injuries in the lower part.”
He said police suspect the man was murdered elsewhere and later dumped in the sewerage drain.
“Postmortem will be conducted to determine what caused the death and to determine the age of the deceased.”
“We appeal to the public at large to assist in identifying the body. A case of murder is opened for further investigation.”
