Praise for new top cop

'I worked with him before and I find him to be a honest and a solid man', says McBride.

Ipid head Robert McBride yesterday sang the praises of the new national police commissioner General Khehla John Sitole, saying he heralds “a whole new era for the South African Police Service”.

“I worked with him before and I find him to be a honest and a solid man that is concerned and passionate about a clean police service. “Our mandates both include keeping the police clean so the work I do compliments the work he does as the leader of the police service,” McBride said.

I am really looking forward to working with him and I know he is committed to act in the best interests of justice.”
