Kill Zuma – By Any Means Necessary, writes Gayton McKenzie

It seems Patriotic Alliance (PA) leader Gayton McKenzie has joined a growing list of people who are writing a book about President Jacob Zuma after sharing his next book cover.

McKenzie recently tweeted he would be sharing the title of his new book set to be released on December 14, only to later share a cover with his name on it and a title that his followers said gave them the “creeps”.

“Kill Zuma, By Any Means Necessary,” reads the title he shared, along with the president’s face in black and white, and blood on his face.

Black First Land First (BLF) leader Andile Mngxitama had been asking McKenzie if he was also writing a book about the president, questions he had never answered.

“Leader, please man, some of us are hoping the gossip we hear that you writing a book on President Jacob Zuma has truth in it. Too many people say its a done deal,” he asked McKenzie, who said he had “no comment” on the matter.

Responding to another follower who was curious about the book, McKenzie said the book would contain a chapter titled ‘Con of Codesa’, perhaps also the very same chapter he promised to share on Thursday.

The title of his book has divided his followers, with some asking if the killing was literal or figurative.

“Can I assume that the topic of your book will be the character assassination of Zuma?” asked one, while another asked if it was even ethical to have such a title.

“Is this a stunt to promote the content and the name will be changed after a court process?” one asked, while another said: “Is this a blueprint for murder? Confusing days what with snipers being hired and found in Zimbabwe. If it’s about attempts to bring down JZ, would love to read it.”

The president has previously revealed that, since calling for radical economic transformation, there had been plots to kill him.

“I was poisoned and almost died just because South Africa joined Brics [the Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa business communities] under my leadership. They said I was going to destroy the country,” Zuma was quoted as saying by IOL.
