The Sassa card is also accepted at all shops and ATMs in South Africa that display the Visa sign.

Old Sassa cards can still be used until September 30 this year, and the new Sassa cards have been available since May, Comaro Chronicle reports.

Existing beneficiaries should have already had their cards changed or be in the process of it. Bedridden and frail beneficiaries will be provided with the contact number to request for a home visit for the changing of the card.
