Dros rape-accused Nicholas Ninow appeared at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court court on Tuesday morning, where the date of his trial was set for September 9 to 20, 2019.
This followed a court indictment saying he should appear in September at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria for trial.
Ninow stands accused of raping a 7-year-old girl in the bathroom of the Dros restaurant in Silverton, Pretoria.
Ninow looked skinnier than at his last court appearance. While waiting for the magistrate, those attending the court called on him to show his face.
The accused was seen sniffing and weeping in the dock. His representative said they were still waiting for instructions on witnesses needed for the trial.
Ninow faces 5 charges of rape, kidnapping, possession and use of drugs, assault, and defeating ends of justice.
