Advocate sends a ‘message’ to Malema and Zuma

As much as he has “a desire” to communicate verbally with President Jacob Zuma and EFF leader Julius Malema, he says he’s just “lost for words”.
So instead, a man by the name of Advocate Albert Murphy has resorted to his middle finger. In a tweet that caused a lot of talk on Tuesday, Murphy offered the same message to Zuma and Malema that EFF leader Floyd Shivambu once gave Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa in parliament.
Malema appears to have gotten the message, because he retweeted it.
“I have a desire to send both Zuma and Malema a message but I’m lost for words. As they say, a picture is worth more than a thousand words,” said Murphy, who also says he is US President Donald Trump’s biggest fan and describes himself as a Christian on Twitter.
It appears the advocate is not happy with the fact that 783 charges were dropped against Zuma in April 2009. Murphy (along with many others, including the DA and EFF) says he wants Zuma to face the charges again.
“If the president acts like one [a president], we can respect him. Let him face the 783 charges of corruption against him then we talk again,” he said in a response tweet.
In April 2016, the Pretoria High Court set aside the decision to withdraw 783 criminal charges against President Jacob Zuma on the basis that it had been irrational. The NPA was obligated to then reinstate the charges, but has done everything possible to delay this.

When asked by one Twitter user if he was related to former president FW de Klerk – due to the apparent facial resemblance between Murphy and De Klerk – Murphy claimed he and the last president of the apartheid government were homeboys.
“No Thulani I’m not related to FW de Klerk but we grew up in the same town and went to the same school. Maybe its [sic] the water,” joked Murphy.
One Twitter user, Celeste Tema @celeste_tema, said: “@adv_albert interesting tweet from someone who claims to be a Christian. I wonder if Jesus would approve.”
