Gender Equality Commission recommends dad-friendly changes to Children’s Act

The Commission on Gender Equality has published a new report that reflects several recommendations to parliament to amend the Children's Act.

The Fathers4Justice Organisation has called on parts of the Children’s Act to be amended after research reveals fathers have been discriminated against. Fathers4Justice founder Gary da Silva said, following research conducted by the Commission on Gender Equality (CGE) on the plight of single, separated, divorced, and unmarried fathers and the effects thereof on children, a new report reflects several recommendations to parliament to amend the Act.
