Rand Water assures consumers water is safe to drink
Rand Water will continue to provide drinking water of a high quality.

Rand Water has taken note of the recent media reports about localised pollution in parts of the Vaal River system, Krugersdorp News reports.
In a media statement by Justice Mohale, media relations manager of Rand Water, consumers were reminded that they should be mindful of the fact that the integrity of all surface and ground water resources must be protected.

“It is important to assure consumers within our service area that Rand Water will continue to provide drinking water of high quality.
“Rand Water obtains raw water from the Vaal Dam, located upstream of these reported pollution incidents, and purifies the water to meet current drinking water standards.”
