Hailstorm warning in parts of Gauteng on Tuesday

The SA weather service has issued a warning of a hailstorm in Pretoria on Tuesday evening, Centurion Rekord reports.
Weather forecaster Bransby Bulo said severe thunderstorms were expected to hit some parts of Gauteng from the late afternoon.
“The weather service is expecting the thunderstorms to start in the south of Gauteng around 16:00.”

In Pretoria, it can be expected to start around 8pm, he said.
“The thunderstorms will be accompanied by hailstorms and strong winds.”
This comes after the heatwave that hit Gauteng and some parts of the country over the weekend.
The weather service said there were chances of light showers on Wednesday morning.
