Delays after pileup on N4 between Middelburg and eMalahleni
Motorists travelling between Middelburg and eMalahleni on the N4 should drive with caution after an accident at the Olifants River.

A Middelburg resident called in to warn of an accident involving multiple cars on the N4 highway between Middelburg and eMalahleni, Middelburg Observer reports.
The Trac Helpdesk confirmed at 07:26 that there has been a multiple-vehicle accident at the Olifants River bridge between Mandela Drive and the Middelburg Plaza.

All eastbound lanes (from eMalahleni to Middelburg) are currently closed, and the westbound slow lane (from Middelburg to eMalahleni) is also closed for traffic.
Another witness claimed that 15 cars are involved. One person has already been reported dead.
Delays are to be expected.
