Tshwane SPCA needs your collectables for fundraising fair

The society asked locals to donate items to sell at the Brooklyn Square Rooftop Vintage and Collectables Fair on Worker’s Day.

The Tshwane SPCA has urged Pretoria residents to donate to a good cause to help animals.

The society asked locals to donate good collectables it would sell at the Brooklyn Square Rooftop Vintage and Collectables Fair on Worker’s Day to raise funds for animals in its care, reports Pretoria East Rekord.

“The public can help us to fundraise by donating your unwanted but sellable antiques, ceramics, glassware, porcelain, décor, jewellery, art, furniture, bric-a-brac, or other collectables and vintage items, to the society,” said spokesperson Elsa Daniels.

“Should you be downsizing or cleaning house, this would be the ideal opportunity to donate these items to the society.”

“The [money] raised will be used to cover the operational cost of animals in our care.”

The SPCA Tshwane also offers various other services to the public, such as pet adoption, an animal hospital, pet food and products, dipping, pet tags and microchips, lost and found, and boarding facilities for pets.

They also have an inspectorate department that handles investigations of cruelty to animals.

“We would appreciate the public’s participation in this event. For more information, on the above services and products, please contact your nearest SPCA Tshwane branch.”
