One killed, 24 injured in taxi collision
Paramedics said one taxi was found in the middle of the road, while the second taxi had come to a stop on the side of the road.

A woman was killed and twenty four others injured on Monday morning in a collision between two taxis on the R55 in Olievenhoutbosch in Centurion, ER24 paramedics said.
“Both vehicles had sustained a large amount of damage in the collision.”
Russel Meiring of ER24 said paramedics discovered the body of a woman lying inside one of the taxis.
“Unfortunately, the woman had already succumbed to her injuries. Nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead on the scene.”
He said 24 people sustained injuries in the crash, ranging from minor to critical.
“The patients were treated for their injuries and the critically injured provided with advanced life support interventions,” Meiring said.
The patients were transported to various hospitals in the area.
