The South African Weather Service forecasts no rainfall, with light winds expected.

As South Africans experience a cold snap this week, Gauteng residents can expect conditions to get a little warmer this weekend.
Gauteng Weather, a regional forecaster, on Monday warned residents in the province to brace for a cold snap midweek.
The forecaster predicted that the chilly weather is expected to continue until the weekend.
However, the South African Weather Service on Wednesday said fine and cool to warm conditions are expected in the province, though areas in the southwestern regions will be cold.
Saturday: Milder day in store
Saturday, 24 May 2025, promises to be a day of mostly clear skies with fine and cold to cool temperatures throughout Gauteng.
In Johannesburg, the day will start with a cold morning temperature of 8°C, rising to a maximum of 18° by 12pm to 1pm.
Temperatures will dip again to 14°C in the evening, but humidity will remain relatively average at around 40% to 55% throughout the day.
According to the weather service, no rainfall is expected for the day, and wind speeds will be light, mainly coming from the southwest.
Joburg residents can expect clear skies during the afternoon, ideal for outdoor activities or getting some sun.
Pretoria will see similar conditions, with temperatures ranging from a low of 9°C in the early morning to a high of 20°C later in the day.
No rain is expected in the city, and the weather will remain clear for most of the day.

Sunday: warmer weather
Temperatures on Sunday, 25 May 2025, will be mild, slightly chilly for others, with clear weather.
In Johannesburg, temperatures will start at 9°C at 8am and peak at around 19°C in the afternoon.
The wind will remain light and skies will remain mostly clear, although a few clouds may appear in the evening.
Pretoria will experience mild conditions, with temperatures climbing to a maximum of 21°C.
Similar to Joburg, the weather will be clear and calm throughout the day, with no chance of rain.
