South Africa is expected to experience cool and fine weather across several parts of the country on Monday, with rains and winds across the coastal regions.
The country was hit by cold front last week, but the mercury has risen bringing slightly warmer temperatures amid the winter season which expected to make landfall in June.
The South African Weather Service (Saws) has issued no warnings which will be relief for South Africans after the cold spell.

Gauteng
Gauteng’s weather will be fine and cool.
Mpumalanga
Early morning fog in places in the extreme west, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in the Lowveld
Limpopo
Saws said Limpopo will experience early morning fog in places in the south-west, otherwise fine and cool weather, but warm in the Lowveld
North West
The North West will be fine and cool.
Free State
Residents can anticipate fine and cool to cold weather
Northern Cape
Morning fog along the coast, otherwise fine, windy and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southeasterly.
Western Cape
The Western Cape will be fine in the northern parts, but cloudy along the southwest, as well as the south coast and adjacent interior with light rain, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south-westerly becoming south-easterly from the afternoon, but moderate westerly along the south coast at first, becoming south-westerly from the afternoon.
Western half of the Eastern Cape:
Fine and cool, becoming partly cloudy in the south in the afternoon, spreading inland overnight. Light evening rain is expected along the coast and adjacent interior.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southwesterly, reaching strong during the afternoon.
Eastern half of the Eastern Cape
Fine and cold to cool, becoming partly cloudy from the south-west in the afternoon. Light rain can be expected in the south-west from late evening.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northwesterly early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh southwesterly.
KwaZulu-Natal
KZN residents will experience morning fog patches over the northern interior, otherwise fine and cool to warm weather.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-westerly becoming westerly to southwesterly from the south by mid-day spreading northwards from the afternoon
