The South African Weather Services(SAWS) has issued a warning for severe thunderstorms in the KwaZulu-Natal area for Monday afternoon, reports Newcastle Advertiser.

The service made specific mention of the uThukela, Amajuba, uMzinyathi, and Zululand districts.

Residents and motorists are urged to practice caution during inclement weather.
