The SA Weather Service has predicted a wet weekend for Pretoria and Johannesburg, urging residents to have their umbrellas ready.
Forecaster Wayne Venter said a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers was predicted throughout the weekend, starting on Friday, reports Pretoria North Rekord.
“We are expecting late afternoon showers and thundershowers into the evening on Friday,” said Venter.

Saturday will bring morning and afternoon showers and thundershowers, with temperatures peaking at 26°C.
Sunday will be warm, with afternoon showers and thundershowers and a high of 28°C.
Temperatures were expected to peak at 26°C on Friday.
