EVERY week, the Northglen News brings you ‘Things You Never Knew Existed’. This week it’s Pup pocket, the first smart scanner. The tiny lightweight scanner can scan any file or items you need digitized. It was created by Renaud Pelissier, a French opera singer, who found it tedious carrying sheets of music around so he invented the Pup.

Unlike other wireless scanners that need to swipe above the document which you need to scan, the Pup pocket uses a laser which you hover over the pages and press the button on the top to check the dimensions.

The wireless device has a long-lasting battery and comes in a variety of colours.
