“He was apprehended on Prince Mhlangana Road,” explained Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell. “After reviewing CCTV footage from both incidents we identified a single repeat business break-in suspect responsible for both crimes and he was spotted walking in the direction of North Coast Road on April 18.”

Powell also detailed how the break-ins occurred.

“In the first incident we received a call from a client on Old North Coast Road regarding a break-in that had occurred in the early hours of that morning. Officers found that a suspect had forced open a rear door and accessed the building through the ceiling, stealing electrical cables before fleeing the scene.

“Just two days later, a second break-in occurred at the same premises. Officers discovered that the suspect had returned, this time gaining entry via the roof and stealing a quantity of copper cables.”
