DUT offers free homoeopathy consultations to public
Families are encouraged to take part and explore how this gentle approach to healing could support their overall well-being.
A week dedicated to natural, family-friendly healthcare is on the horizon, and the public is invited to take full advantage of it at the Durban University of Technology.
World Homoeopathy Week, observed from April 7 to 10, commemorates the birth and legacy of Samuel Hahnemann, the pioneer of homoeopathy.

To mark the occasion, the DUT Homoeopathy Community Health Centre will offer free homoeopathic consultations to the public. These sessions provide an opportunity for individuals and families to experience this form of treatment firsthand, at no cost.
This year, the celebration is being extended to include Family Day on April 6, placing a special focus on how homoeopathy can support the health and well-being of entire families.
Homoeopathy is widely regarded as a safe, gentle and natural form of healthcare that can be used by people of all ages — from infants to the elderly — making it an appealing option for families seeking holistic wellness solutions.
Consultations will be conducted by senior homoeopathy students as part of their clinical training, under the supervision of qualified and registered homoeopathic practitioners. Due to the teaching environment, the public are encouraged to allow extra time for their consultations and to be patient during the process.
Appointments are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.
