Coronation Park ‘turns green’ after a weekend of hard partying
Those who 'park party' certainly love their liquor in green bottles...

No matter the complaints, calls to police, appeals to the municipality, the parties in Coronation Park opposite the Dundee Hospital continue.
Loud music and open drinking in public went until after midnight on Friday. Residents’ calls to the police station were met with the response ‘call the municipality’.
Surprisingly, when they did call the municipal emergency number, the operator did send out officials, presumably law authorities, to terminate the party. However, on Saturday and on Sunday the parties continued with the new party-goers simply drinking and parking among the mess left by the Friday party.
Watch video here of ‘Monday morning in the park’:
On Sunday afternoon, residents were shocked to see a tent being pitched adjacent to the bowling club, complete with sound system. However, following complaints to the municipality, it appears as if the tent was then taken down.
On Monday morning the park looked worse than ever with dozens of green liquor bottles strategically placed next to the rubbish bins provided.
