Residents can expect service delivery to resume as normal

The week-long strike at the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality has ended.

This was confirmed by a source who did not want to be named due to being employed at the municipality.

Last week municipal staff and their unions decided to strike for their ‘overdue’ wage hike.

This came about after the likelihood of receiving their seven percent increment as of July, was struck off due to the financial status of the municipality.

Residents can expect service delivery to resume as normal as of today.
