Endumeni Mayor, Siboniso Richard Mbatha has officially resigned from the Council and as Mayor of the Municipality.
The IFP have accepted his resignation.
Mbatha, who was not present at the meeting to discuss the COGTA forensic investigation report, wrote a letter to Council, announcing his resignation.

He became the youngest Mayor ever when he was elected in August 2016.
