The bomb scare at a shopping complex in Ladysmith this morning (December 16) proved to be a hoax and the complex is now open to shoppers.
According to one of the staff members working at the complex, they were shocked when they got to work and had to be evacuated to the parking lot.

Police and the K9 Unit were on scene.
UPDATE:
The shopping centre has been closed once again. Shop owners and customers have been asked to vacate the premises. The centre is currently on lock-down.
