Naritha returns home to launch book

To mark the event, Naritha will be donating 10 copies of her book to the school library

A former Dannhauser Secondary scholar, now a published author, will be returning to her school, 21 years later.

Naritha Naidu (formerly Palad) will be launching her autobiography, Bitter Sweet Destiny, at the school on Friday, September 15, at 11am.

The book launch will be open to the public and anyone instrumental in the educational development of learners. Naritha hopes that the launch will motivate the learners, parents and staff to keep striving for great heights using education as a tool.

Naritha served as Head Prefect of Dannhauser Secondary in 1996. She is now married with two children.

One of her sons, Wesley, will also be motivating learners, especially matriculants, about the importance of being disciplined and focused.

Wesley, who is studying at the University of Witwatersrand, will give learners study tips, with the focus on the power of reading with understanding.

To mark the event, Naritha will be donating 10 copies of her book to the school library.
