In March 2024, Hefer assumed leadership of the Potchefstroom practice.

Wired for Fun combines science, engineering, and art to bring patients a complete orthodontic solution.
Since 2003 Dr Alfred Dippenaar led the Wired for Fun Potchefstroom practice to greater growth, providing excellent for patients.

Dr Aniel Hefer, who joined the team in 2021, worked alongside Dippenaar and the practice’s dedicated staff to further enhance its services.
In March 2024, Hefer assumed leadership of the Potchefstroom practice, while Dippenaar will continue to care for his existing patients until their treatments are completed. Hefer and the Wired for Fun team are excited to welcome new patients and continue the legacy of exceptional care established by Dippenaar.
Hefer graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2003. He did his community service at the SANDF in Potchefstroom in 2004.
In 2012 he graduated from Tuks with a Diploma in Endodontics. He worked in private practice for 16 years in Johannesburg. Hefer also attended the Practical Orthodontics Academy mentorship under Dr Weber in 2019.
Hefer relocated in 2021 to his hometown Potchefstroom where he joined the Wired for Fun team under the mentorship of Dippenaar.
He is currently in the final stages of his MSc in Orthodontics focussing on adult orthodontics at the University of the Western Cape.
