On December 16, PAWS Haven will decorate their kennels in order to bring some Christmas cheer to all the abandoned animals in their care.

Volunteers are urged to bring or donate some decorations, bring takkies and a leash for walkies and old jeans for some feline loving. The event will start at 10:00 on Tuesday.

Recently PAWS Haven received another case of an abandoned dog, which was picked up by a kind lady on the Ventersdorp-Potchefstroom Road.

Twiggy, as the poor baby is called, also needs some assistance from the community in order bring her back to full health.

The shelter is also in dire need of treats, dog and cat food and blankets for the holiday season, as this is very quiet time of the year and it is a struggle to feed all the animals.
