The Ikageng police are investigating a murder case after the body of an unknown man was found with stab wounds on the corner of Kwena and Phuduhutswana streets on Monday morning.
According to Sgt Kelebogile Trom, the police spokesperson, the body was found facing upwards at about 05:20.
‘He was lying in a pool of blood and his right hand was covered in blood. He had a long stab wound stretching from the chin to the left side of the cheek and another on the right side of the neck. There was also blood metres from the body,’ she reported.
According to her, there were tyre marks a few metres from where the body was lying.
All relevant personnel attended the scene and the deceased was transported to the mortuary.
