Anellé Arbuckle, a dancer who took part in the IFAA national finals that were hosted at Heartfelt Arena, Pretoria, on 23 and 24 August.

Anellé Arbuckle, a dancer who took part in the IFAA national finals that were hosted at Heartfelt Arena, Pretoria, on 23 and 24 August.

As stated, before the finals Anellé sustained an injury when she tore her pelvis while dancing and underwent treatment. In addition, this dance star mentioned that she didn’t want to miss the finals and indeed she didn’t.

Anellé attained the highest marks in all her dance categories; musical theatre, hip hop, modern, jazz, lyrical and contemporary, between ages 3-19. Her scores were 97.25, 96.73, 96.75, 95.48, 95.8, 96.25 per cent. Her musical theatre performance score, 97.25 per cent, was the highest in the entire competition.

With these achievements, she qualified into the Diamond team, which will represent South Africa in the 2020 IFAA International Competition in Barcelona, Spain.

Anellé will also compete in the Dance Stars South Africa in October, as well as in the IFAA Dance and Modelling Grand Prix South Africa.
