Christmas Trees with a twist

The Festival of Christmas Trees was a colourful and creative affair at President Pretorius Primary from 29 November to 10 December.

The Festival of Christmas Trees was a colourful and creative affair at President Pretorius Primary from 29 November to 10 December. Companies, schools and organisations from across Potchefstroom took part in this initiative, where uniqueness was the order of the day.

There were trees in the more traditional sense, with green and red colours predominating. Others, made from various materials with a wider range of colours, were also truly a sight to behold. There is no doubt that the popularity of this event continues to grow each year, judging by the eagerness of the exhibitors to showcase their trees.

This event almost serves as a team-building exercise with kids and adults joining in the fun of decorating and designing their unique tree and demonstrating what Christmas means to them.

A lot of Potchefstroomers missed this festive event, this year, as many did not know of this event. Festivalgoers can plan and prepare for another superb Festival of Christmas Trees in 2022.

Interested individuals, companies and schools can contact Roné Jansen van Vuuren on 082 323 1786 for more information on next year’s event.
