A head on collision occurred this morning (28 February) at around 07:30 on the R501, about 5km outside of Potch in the direction of Carletonville.

All authorities are at the scene of the accident.

According to reports three patients were treated by emergency personnel. The severity of their injuries are still unknown.

At 07:45 the road was still obstructed. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
