This year’s Face of Divaco once again proved to be a highlight on the campus arts calendar.

Talent, confidence, and creativity took centre stage at the North-West University’s Potchefstroom campus on March 19, as the NWU Art Society, Divaco, hosted its premier event, Face of Divaco 2026.
Held at the Totuis F9 venue, the evening drew a lively audience and featured a vibrant mix of performances, highlighting the society’s diverse artistic focus areas, including drama and poetry, dance, and choral work.

Emerging as the winner on the night was Ruben van Aardt, a first-year Divaco member who was participating in the pageant for the very first time. His achievement marked a significant milestone, reflecting both his talent and the opportunities the platform creates for new member.

Organisers described the evening as a resounding success, emphasising the importance of events like Face of Divaco in building confidence, showcasing passion, and uniting students through the arts.
With its blend of performance and pageantry, the event continues to cement its place as one of Divaco’s most anticipated showcases, celebrating the spirit of creativity on campus.
