Police seek help to find missing Ikageng woman

She is described as dark in complexion, approximately 1.70m tall and has short black afro hair.

Police in Ikageng have appealed to the community for assistance in tracing a 52-year-old woman who has been missing since Wednesday, June 17.

Disebo Mokoena, who is epileptic, was last seen by her elder sister on Wednesday afternoon. Since her disappearance, police have conducted extensive searches in Ikageng and surrounding areas, but she has not yet been found.

According to police spokesperson Constable Thuto Bobelo, officers are concerned for Mokoena’s safety and are urging residents to come forward with any information that could assist in locating her.

“We request anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Disebo Mokoena to contact the investigating officer or the nearest police station,” said Bobelo.

At the time of her disappearance, Mokoena was wearing a red, white and blue traditional Shweshwe dress, a beanie, black shoes and black socks.

She is described as dark in complexion, approximately 1.70m tall and has short black afro hair.

Anyone with information about Mokoena’s whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Grizuan Abrahams, on 084 811 4428 or 018 299 1443.
