Power outage still ongoing in Potch

The power went off at around 04:30 this morning (Saturday, August 1).

A large section of Potchefstroom is currently experiencing a power outage.

It is believed that the power outage is likely due to main supply line tripping by either the Gamma substation or on the main line. The specific cause is yet to be determined.

The power went off at around 04:30 this morning (Saturday, August 1).

Disaster management at the JB Marks Municipality has been informed of the current situation.
