Vaal Reefs were too good for Potch Dorp in the North West Women’s Club Cricket final on Saturday 5 March and they romped to a comprehensive 9 wicket victory.
Evodia Yekile was the bowler of the match with 2/6 in four overs while Elriesa Fourie got the Batsman of the Match award for her blistering 58 (22). She also attained an impressive strike rate of 264. Elriesa was also duly named the Player of the Match. Potch Dorp only got 67 on the scoreboard and Vaal Reefs chased it down in 6.3 overs.
