Tlokwe Youth Development FC’s ladder of success is almost reaching its intended summit with the ABC Motsepe League promotion within touching distance.
This club, which is based in Ikageng, is currently looking to gain promotion to the ABC Motsepe League and has done excellently in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda Region SAB League phase, this year. The side’s most impressive result lately was their 3-0 win over Puk Tawana that guaranteed their participation in the playoffs this coming Saturday, 10 June.
Tlokwe Youth Development is in Group A and will play against the likes of Young Tigers at Tswelelang Stadium in Wolmaransstad. According to Tlokwe Youth Development team manager, Bethuel Mere, his side will then play against the winner of Group B in a winner-takes-all match on Saturday 17 June if all goes well this weekend.
‘The winner will represent the district in the provincial playoffs. The winner in that match will be promoted to the ABC Motsepe League,’ he said, explaining the long qualification process.
