The Leopards’ u.13 and u.16 Grant Khomo teams both experienced mixed results during their respective national rugby weeks that were held at Grey College in Bloemfontein from 10 to 14 July this year.

There were a few excellent results, none more so than the Leopards u.13 Craven Week side’s 20-19 win against a strong Free State team on their home soil.

They also demolished Zimbabwe 66-7. Nonetheless, the Leopards will feel that they should have beaten Eastern Province and the Valke and will look at these matches as missed opportunities.

The u.16 Grant Khomo side also produced flashes of magic especially against Border CD with a big 46-3 win but was lacklustre in some respects, going down 31-23 to Namibia.

u.13 Craven Week Results

Leopards 15 – 32 Eastern Province

Zimbabwe 7 – 66 Leopards

Valke 20 – 14 Leopards

Leopards 20 – 19 Free State

u.16 Craven Week Results

Leopards 23 – 31 Namibia

Border CD 3 – 46 Leopards

Leopards 10 – 28 Valke
