9T20 cricket league starts with a bang

The 2017/18 season of the ever popular 9T20 Social and Business cricket league got underway this past Sunday (17 September) at Potchefstroom Boys High’s cricket fields.

This local league sees 15, 9 per side teams battle it out for supremacy from September to March in a jam packed season that will be filled with smashing sixes and wondrous wickets.

Six matches took place this past weekend where the likes of the Tile Africa, Smurfs, Stingrays, Mike’s Kitchen Superstars, Jaguars and Kings of the Field recorded opening victories.

Tile Africa currently tops the standings with the Smurfs, Jaguars en Mike’s Kitchen Superstars close behind after their wins.
