North West Senior Cricket held the Community-based T20 knockout qualifiers at Witrand Cricket Oval on Sunday, 26 November 2017.
The top four community-based clubs in the Premier League played against one another in a knockout competition.
They were Vaal Reefs I, Impala Precrete I, Klerksdorp Travellers I and Potch Dorp I.
The overs were reduced to 15 overs in order to accommodate three matches, the two semi-finals and a final, later.
The first match was between Impala and Travellers, which was followed by Vaal Reefs against Potch Dorp. Vaal Reefs and Impala won their matches to book themselves a place in the final and what a match it was, as both teams gave the spectators a nail-biting performance that Impala ended up winning. Impala will now represent North West Cricket against the winners of Gauteng (Jeppe Cricket Club) on 3 December 2017, in what is deemed the franchise community-based T20 Cup qualifiers.
The winner will take part in the Multiply Community-based T20 cricket week in December 2017.
