Bokone Football Club’s u.13 stars are looking forward to the trip of a lifetime when they travel to China to play in the 2018 Gothia Cup in August. The Gothia Cup will take place in Qingdao in China from 8 to 20 August when various clubs from across the world will compete.

Kagiso Masango and Lehlohonolo Moeketsi will lead the Ikageng-based club on this footballing adventure and, according to Moeketsi, the u.13 boys are looking forward to the experience and representing their community and country at large.

‘The club has always looked to creating a platform for local players to participate and exposing them to international competitions. Engaging children in football has been the mandate of the club, to teach discipline, teamwork and the importance of education,’ he said.
Moeketsi says the team is still in need of donations and contributions would be greatly appreciated. For any enquiries, please contact him at 061 160 3561.
