International cricket will hit Potchefstroom next Friday (12 October) when South Africa face Zimbabwe in a highly anticipated T20 international at Senwes Park at 18:00.
The Proteas will return to their happy hunting ground of Senwes Park where they have achieved massive success in the past. The previous time the Proteas played a T20 in Potchefstroom they demolished Bangladesh with ease as David Miller scored a record-breaking fastest T20 international century in 2017.
The Proteas can be confident of a victory against Zimbabwe, despite coming to Potch with a young squad. Faf du Plessis will captain the team alongside the experienced J.P. Duminy, Quinton de Kock and David Miller.

Newcomers like Rassie van der Dussen, who is well known in North West Cricket circles, may get his first start and the ever-impressive Christiaan Jonker could also smash it out of Senwes Park at will.
The pace of Lungi Ngidi and Dane Paterson will also provide fireworks for the Proteas when they are on song.
Zimbabwe has chosen an experienced side with captain and record Zim T20 International run getter, Hamilton Masakadza at the forefront.
The likes of Brendan Taylor, Sean Williams and Chamu Chibabha will also form a strong batting lineup. South Africa has never lost a T20 International against Zimbabwe and will look to keep that record intact against their neighbours in Potchefstroom.
